Arriving in Innsbruck   Arriving in Innsbruck

This weekend, I finally got to visit the gorgeous city of Innsbruck which is the capital of the federal state of Tyrol located in western Austria. Innsbruck is surrounded by the tyrollean alps and if you are walking through the bautiful city center, you can always look up to the snowy mountains which makes this city even more beautiful in my opinion, as I love both: beautiful cities and the mountains ;)

Innsbruck has been on my must-see list for a long time so I was extremely happy when I had my first tyrolean dinner with a view on the city centre and the alps in the background when I arrived on Friday evening. The next morning, I started my city exploration together with a very good friend of mine, looking at all the important sights and of course getting lost in the lovely side streets of the city. Later on, we just hopped on a train up to 2000 meters (yep, there is a train from the city center right to the top of the nearest mountain ) In my next blogpost, I will show you some impressions from up there for sure :D

Well now, I’d like to show you guys some pictures from the city…
