Before heading to Verona, I spent days at the beautiful lake Garda. We were very lucky that there was a nice room left in the charming Belfiore Park Hotel, as we decided to spend some days at this nice lake only 1 week before we went to Italy. Every room is furnished in a different style; so there are rooms like the Oriental suite or even an “Enzo Ferrari” room :)
When I arrived here after 1 night in South Tyrol/Italy I went straight to the lake and enjoyed the sun. As soon as it got a bit cooler I rented a bike and drove down the beautiful passage around the lake to explore all the little villages and cute spots around the lake. The best thing about the little villages here (compared to the bigger ones ) is that they seem way more “originally” because
they are not that many tourist going there… Hence the buildings in the smaller cities are not that much renovated and renewed but I pretty much like it, when the facades of those lovely and colorful houses crumble a little bit ;)
