Yesterday, I arrived in Carinthia /Austria in order to visit my grandparents for a week… Since my grandfather is working as a wild conservationist, there are a few deer living around my grandparents house, so I decided to show you guys a “bambi kind of day “ and make some portraits of them whilst testing my new 50mm lens. The great thing is that the deer around the house are already used to humans getting closer to them so it was quite easy for me to get close enough to them to get some pictures.
At the first moment when they saw me while they were hiding in the nearby woods, they didn’t want to come out because they were to shy but when they saw that I brought some apples with me, they immediately came out of the wood in order to be fed. Many people asked me how much I had to zoom for my picture they saw on my Instagram yesterday but I did not zoom at all, I was actually really close to the deer…. It just needed some time for the animals to trust me and a few tasty apples as a reward for their modeling (:
